Holy cow, what happened to the day!

Started reading and got lost. I was never really into vampire novels until I read Interview With a Vampire, by Anne Rice. Several years after reading, and watching the undead, the idea for Twisted Fate tickled my brain. After reading the Twilight series, by Stephenie Meyers, the story was cinched and Lyn rolled from my imagination onto paper. Several people read it, told me to publish it, and here I am, trying to build a platform to get enough people interested to get it noticed.

I’m not sure what genre it falls into, it’s about a struggle between unwanted desire and hard won accomplishment. Yea, Lyn, the main character is a vampire, but more than that she’s a doctor who must learn to control her thirst before she can practice medicine again. Will she ever gain enough control? At this point, I don’t even know the answer to that. Before we find out, however, there are many other obstacles she  has to overcome.

I think it’s a good story, but I’m jaded. More importantly, my Steven thinks it’s a good story, and he’s not jaded, trust me on this, if he didn’t like it, he’d tell me.

So, here I am, at your mercy, trying to understand blogging, and tweeting, and platforming. Oh for the days of simple snail mail, query letters, and and good ol’ rejection letters until you find the right agent to help you out.
